This Expo is designed to aid citizens in Southern Utah to become better informed on current and future transportation projects in the Dixie area.
The 2010 Dixie Regional Transportation Expo will be
on
February 2, 2010
from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the
Dixie Center in St. George.
Tours to the Replacement Airport will be available free to the public by signing up at the Expo or by calling (435) 627-4006 on a first come first serve basis tours will be provided at 12, 1, 2 and 3:00 pm. Tours will depart and return from the Dixie Center on the day of the Expo.
Projects that will be at the Expo this year are:
- Washington City – Washington City Road Master Plan including bike routes.
- Parks Division – St. George Regional Trail System
- UDOT -Current projects in Dixie Region
- Horrocks Engineering – Southern Parkway and I-15 Milepost 0-16 Environmental Assessment, Dixie Drive Interchange
- St. George City – Replacement Airport
- Lochner Engineers – SR 9 Corridor Preservation from I-15 to Southern Parkway Phase VI
- URS Corporation – Southern Parkway Phase IV and V
- Dixie MPO – Traffic Demand Modeling in Washington County
- AECOM – St. George Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) feasibility study
- Hurricane City – Road Master Plan
- Jacques and Associates – SR-9 Improvements Projects
